Application Summary
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Senior Resident/Tutor
Essential Qualification:
(i) 40% posts of Senior Resident / Tutor will be filled from members of Bihar State Health Service cadre and 40% posts will be filled from doctors who have completed post graduate degree course (under residency scheme) from State Medical Colleges and remaining 20% posts will be filled from such doctors. Those who have obtained a postgraduate degree (residency scheme) from recognised institutions outside the state. The minimum educational qualification for the posts of Senior Resident / Tutor will be a Master degree in the subject-specific. In case of shortage of qualified candidates, the minimum educational qualification will be Diploma, for which they will also be given 10 marks equivalent to a Master degree in the particular subject. Provided that their place in the merit list shall be below that of the candidates who have obtained a postgraduate degree.
(ii) Teachers of the Medical Council of India, as per the eligibility qualification, equivalent post graduate degree holders will also be eligible for selection.
