Essential Qualification:
A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-sc ale wherever the grading system is followed) in Mechanical/ Electronics/ ECE/ EEE/ Material Science / Basic Sciences/Nanotechnology / concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or Similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the University Gran ts Commission (Minimum Standard s and Procedure for Award of M-Phil./PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 / 2018 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET
Desirable:
He/She concentrate Technology on Teaching and Research, in the area of Nano Science/Nano Technology.
Publications of at least 10 research papers related to multidisciplinary area of Nanoscience/Nanotechnology in the respective field in peer reviewed Journals as a author/co-author
Demonstrative leadership in organizing National/State level seminars/conference/academic activities.
Demonstrative leadership of handling high end research equipment like Electron Microscope, Vibrating sample Microscope, Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy and other Nanomaterials characterization equipment
