Indian Institute of Technology Mandi invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Chair-Professor

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in a relevant area with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch/discipline with consistently good academic record throughout.

Essential Work Experience:

1. A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which at least five years should be at the level of Associate Professor or above in reputed organizations like IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, IISERs, and BITS Pilani or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards.

2. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience in independent research in terms of guidance of Ph.D. students’ strong research record, including publications in highly reputed peer-reviewed journals, patents, sponsored research projects, and other recognized relevant professional activities.

Desirable: Industry consulting experience is desirable.
