Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in PhD programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Essential Qualification: NET-JRF/NET/SLET (Uttarakhand)/GATE qualified candidates

Educational Qualification: Masters degree or a professional degree in the concerned subject or in a cognate or an allied/interdisciplinary subject, declared equivalent to the Masters degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade B in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a grading point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions.

Admission Details

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at All India level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Srinagar, Uttarakhand, India, 249161.
