ICAR Indian Institute of Rice Research invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

  1. Ph.D. degree in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Seed Science and technology/ Plant Science or

    Masters degree in Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Seed Science and technology/ Plant Science with 4/5 years of bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

  2. Three years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements

Desirable:

  1. Experience in rice seed production and processing

  2. Knowledge on handling seeds, seed registers, godowns, and seed related works proven through publications in peer reviewed journals.

  3. Any additional qualifications relevant to the project.
