Forest Survey of India invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Technical Associate

Essential Qualification:

  • Post Graduate degree any Science subject or MCA or M.Sc in IT/Computer Science or B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/ Civil Engineering from a recognised university/ Institution

  • Should have studied Maths and Physics as subjects at Intermediate level

  • Along with Diploma or Certificate Course in Remote Sensing/ GIS from a recognised University/ Institution

  • M.Sc/M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS

  • Should have studied Maths and Physics as subjects at Intermediate level

Desirable:

  • High Resolution Satellite Data processing fro LULC Mapping

  • SAR/LIDAR/ Drone Data processing and analysis

  • Knowledge of AI/ML based techniques in LULC Mapping.

  • Knowledge of RS/GLS softwares including knowledge of query build up, spatial Modeling

  • Knowledge of coding scripts using Open Source Platform eg. Python, R etc.

Recruitment Details

Forest Survey of India invites application for various posts. Total 25 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification.
