National Institute of Plant Genome research invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow/Project Associate-II

Essential Qualification:

Qualification for SRF: Candidates selected through National Eligibility Test as mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019 and having Masters degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or equivalent with two years post-masters degree experience in research and development in industrial or academic organization are eligible to apply. Expertise in molecular biology techniques in the field of plant science especially, in the model plants/crops, or in bioinformatics (genomics/computational biology) will be given preference.

Qualification for PA-II: Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in the DST Office Memorandum number SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated July 10, 2020 and having Masters degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or equivalent with two years post-masters degree experience in research and development in industrial or academic organization are eligible to apply. Expertise in molecular biology techniques in the field of plant science especially, in the model plants/crops, or in bioinformatics (genomics/computational biology) will be given preference.
