Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: GATE/NET qualified candidates having masters degree in Biochemistry/any branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks in degree examinations.

Desirable: Candidates with > 1 year of hands-on research experience working with the Drosophila system and the ability to analyze next-generation sequencing (DNA/RNA) big-data.

Post Name: Laboratory Assistant

Essential Qualification: Candidate should have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination with science subjects with 50% marks.

Essential Work Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years of full-time work experience in life science lab is required with capabilities of handling routine administrative office work.

Desirable: Candidate should be able to take care of general maintenance of lab, cleaning and washing of fly culture bottles/vials and preparation of fly media, cleaning of glassware, water baths, operation of autoclave, centrifuges, cleaning and defrosting of refrigerator, cold cabinets, and deep freezers, ordering of lab chemicals, and keeping account of lab consumables and bills.
