All India Institute of Ayurveda invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Professor

Essential Qualification: 

  1. Degree in Ayurveda recognized under Schedule II of IMCC Act, 1970.

  2. MD/MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM under Schedule-II of IMCC Act, 1970 in the concerned subject

  3. PhD in the concerned subject.

  4. Minimum 16 years full-time teaching and or research experience after MD/MS (Ay.) out of which minimum 14 years’ experience of PG teaching as guide at MD/MS/PhD level out of which minimum 10 years as Associate Professor

  5. Holding analogous post in Ayurveda teaching institute

  6. Minimum ten high quality published works (excluding his/her own PhD work publications), such as research papers in indexed journals and books or technical reports.

Desirable Qualification:

  1. Preference will be given to the candidates having more than 2 years of experience in Hospital Administration for the post of Professor (Kayachikitsa or Shalya or Stri Rog & Prasooti) 

  2. Experience of undertaking Research Projects as Principal Investigator (PI).

  3. Capacity to undertake/ lead sponsored R&D consultancy and related activities

  4. Patents filed/obtained.

Post Name: Associate Professor

Essential Qualification: 

  1. Degree in Ayurveda recognized under Schedule II of IMCC Act, 1970.

  2. MD/MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM under Schedule-II of IMCC Act, 1970 in the concerned subject.

  3. PhD in the concerned subject.

  4. Minimum 9 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer out of which 3 years’ experience as guide at MD/MS(Ayu.)/ PhD level in subject concerned.

  5. Total 14 years teaching experience at UG level.

  6. Holding analogous post in Ayurveda teaching institute

  7. High quality published works, such as research papers (min. five (excluding his/her own PhD work publications) in indexed journals.) and books or technical reports.

Desirable: 

Experience of undertaking independent research Projects as Principal Investigator (PI).

Capacity to undertake/ lead sponsored R&D consultancy and related activities.

Post Name: Assistant Professor

Essential Qualification:

  1. Degree in Ayurveda recognized under Schedule II of IMCC Act, 1970.

  2. MD/MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM under Schedule-II of IMCC Act, 1970 in the concerned subject.

  3. 3 years full time teaching and or research experience from any recognized institute after MD/MS (Ay.)

  4. Published works, such as research papers (min 3) in indexed journals and books or technical reports.

Desirable Qualification:  PhD (in the concerned subject)

Recruitment Details

All India Institute of Ayurveda invites application for various posts. Total 13 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number AIIA/Rectt/01/2023. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 55, depending on the specific post. Please look at the Official Notification for the age limits mentioned for each post. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Government Servant/Departmental Candidate will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Economically Weaker Sections, Unreserved and Scheduled Tribes . The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at New Delhi Delhi India 110011.
