Post Name: Additional Superintendent of Police/Deputy Commandant

Essential Qualification: From amongst officers of the Central Armed Police Forces or State Police Organisations

1. holding analogous posts Level-11 (67,700-2,08,700/-) in the pay matrix, OR

2. Deputy Superintendent of Police/ Assistant Commandant in Level 10 (56,100-1,77,500/-) in the pay matrix, with five years regular service in the grade

3. Bachelors degree from recognised Institute

Essential Work Experience: 

1. Three years experience as Instructor or Trainer in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police/ Deputy Superintendent/ Assistant Commandant in planning, coordination, teaching and conduct of outdoor and indoor training related to field craft and tactics.

2. He should be qualified in minimum two certified courses conducted by the Central Armed Police Forces or State Police organisations in areas like map reading and tactics, explosive weapons.

3. Two years experience in operation field area in Unit/Battalion in the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police/ Deputy Superintendent / Assistant Commandant. 

Desirable: 

1. Two year experience in General Administration.

2. Having specialisation in field craft and tactics.

3. Preference will be given to officers possessing degree in Law and knowledge of police related subjects.
