• Assistant Professor of Practice

• Assistant Professor (International Relations and Security Studies)

Essential Qualification: 

• A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Area Studies, National Security, Security Studies and Strategic Studies and/or concerned/allied/relevant disciplines

• A Minimum qualification is PhD submitted (in regular mode).

• An absence of PhD must be offset by demonstrated domain knowledge (relevant professional), obtained from the field. The expert must have understanding of the practical applications of a particular field of study.

• A candidate with PhD will be preferred and the candidate should have imparting instructions and training and having policy-oriented research including PhDs.

• The candidates shall be evaluated for their exceptional contributions either because of their unique expertise (that is not available internally) or because of their potential contribution to the institute through teaching quality and exceptional service.

• He/she shall guide technical-security projects of students and faculty, including PhD projects and RRU affiliated or partner institutions, and coordinate security and policing related projects. He/she should have excellent leadership and communication skills, passion to teach and motivate students, build relationship with security stakeholders of India and abroad, and enthusiasm to collaborate.
