Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Vice-Chancellor

Essential Qualification: Professionals / Faculty/ Officers of the Central Government / Autonomous bodies/ Universities/ Institutions:

  1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis

  2. With five years of regular service in the post in the Grade Pay of 10,000.

  3. Doctorate Degree in Tibetan Studies/ Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy from a recognized university, or equivalent traditional monastic degree.

  4. With a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in University system in the Grade Pay of 10,000.

Essential Work Experience: Ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research and/ or academic administrative organization. 

Desirable: 

  1. Knowledge and fluency in written and spoken Hindi, English and Tibetan Languages.

  2. Evidence of outstanding research and published works in national/international journals of repute or as well acknowledged books in the field of Buddhist Studies.
