Essential Qualification:

  • The candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF) are exempted from Ph.D. Entrance Test; however, they will be required to appear for Interview. The merit list will be prepared as per the UGC regulations and Doon University PhD ordinance. 

  • Masters Degree in relevant field

Admission Details

Doon University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Unreserved. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, 248001.
