Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Marine Microbiology
Essential Work Experience: 4 years of research experience in the relevant field.
Desirable: Proficient in basic Microbiology techniques. Experience on working with environmental DNA samples and bioinformatic analyses. Handling and operation of LC-MS. Experience of sailing on research vessel on long voyages.The selected candidate will be required to assist the Project Leader in sampling, maintenance of cultures, and analyses of genomics and proteomics data

Essential Qualification: M.Sc Microbiology/M.Sc Marine Geology/Geophysics/Physical Oceanography/Biotechnology/Zoology
Desirable:
Proficient in basic Microbiology techniques. Experience of different microbiological sampling methods. Experience of using different molecular techniques. The selected candidate will be required to assist the Project Leader in sampling, data processing, report preparation and maintenance of the bacterial cultures.
Experience in GIS-based analysis of coastal habitat/ preparation of land use decision models. Candidate should be well versed with GIS based tools/models and analysis of satellite imageries, data processing and ground truthing- specifically for marine & coastal habitats. Satellite data acquisition. image processing and analysis for marine, estuarine and coastal habitats. LULC analysis, writing of technical reports, scientific articles and any other task assigned by the PI.
Experience and knowledge on working with Bacteria, Bacteriophages, Bacteriophage therapy. Selected candidate will have to carry out extensive field work in fishing boats, perform the processing and analysis of water, sediments and biota for Phage isolation; Characterization of phages; maintain and manage project database, and preparation of reports
