Post Name: Project Associate

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters degree in any branch of Horticulture /Agriculture/ Botany/ Forestry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.

2. Masters degree in any branch of Horticulture (Fruit Science/ Vegetable Science/ Floriculture/ Spices, Plantation Crops, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants/ Post Harvest Technology) or Forestry or Agronomy or Soil Science/ Agriculture/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics /Botany/ Genetics/Plant breeding/ Seed Technology/ Biochemistry.

Desirable:

1. Qualified in National eligibility test (NET)/state eligibility test (SET) by ASRB/ ICAR/ UGC/ CSIR/ GATE/Central/State Governments.

2. Knowledge of research literature management software Mendeley/ Zotero and data analysis in spreadsheet programs.

3. Two years research experience in field lab work of propagation /soil/ plant chemical /biochemical estimation (palms/ horticultural crops), data recording as evidenced by research articles.

4. Two years research experiences in field/ lab work in palms/ Horticultural Crops data recording Qualified.

5. Candidate with strong passion, dedication, motivation, grasping power and creativity to develop research based innovative solutions in coconut based cropping systems, seed gardens of coconut/ Arecanut Palms.
   

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Agricultural Entomology/ Plant Pathology/ Agricultural Microbiology/ Agricultural Biotechnology or M.Sc Zoology specialization in Agricultural Entomology or Post graduate degree in basic science or Graduate or Post graduate degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE.

2. The selection process through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE DOS,DRDO, MHRD, ICAR,ICMR, IIT, IISC IISER etc.

Desirable: Experience in working with insect pests on agricultural crops/ insect samples collection/rearing of insects and bio-control agents/ experience in conducting field evaluation trail.
