National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Officer (Nature-based Solutions)

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters degree in Environmental Planning/ Environmental Engineering or other related fields, with an understanding of the innovation in NbS with focus on climate resilient infrastructure.
2. Proficiency in use of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
3. Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
4. Previous work experience in research pertaining to integrated planning, sustainable development, Nature-based Solutions (NbS), etc. is essential.
5. Ability to work independently and under pressur

Desirable:

1. Experience of working with Central Govt./ State Govt./ National Urban Missions (SMART City, AMRUT, etc.)/ Multilateral and bilateral organizations/ Local Bodies/ Resource centers/ NGOs/ Communities.
2. Experience of demonstrating application of NbS will be an added advantage.
3. Working knowledge of GIS softwares (ArcMap, AutoCAD Map, QGIS, etc.) will be an added advantage.
4. Proficiency in spoken and written English. A good command over regional language (of Project cities) and Hindi is desirable.
