Essential Qualification: Any Degree awarded by any University recognised by the University Grants Commission. Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to the candidates possessing a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration and next preference shall be given to the candidates possessing Master’s degree in Social Work.

Recruitment Details

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 8 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 629. The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit ranges to 60, depending on the specific post. Information Regarding Onscreen Certificate Verification

The list of register number of candidates who have been provisionally admitted to Onscreen Certificate Verification in the ratio of 1:4 for the posts of Jailor (Men) and Jailor (Special Prison for Women) in Tamil Nadu Jail Service based on the results of the examination (Computer Based Test) conducted by the Commission on 26.12.2022 The Onscreen Certificate Verification will be done based on the documents already uploaded by the candidates at the time of submission of online application.
