CSIR Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Associate-II

Essential Qualification: 

  • MSc in Botany/ Biochemistry from a recognized university or equivalent;

  • MSc in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry/ Botany or B Tech in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics from a recognized university or equivalent;

Essential Work Experience: 2 years experience in Research and development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Desirable: 

  • Background in ecological interactions, especially with insects, and understanding their responses to changing climates.

  • Demonstrated research experience related to plant-insect interactions, ecological studies, or related fields, with potential publications.

  • Strong expertise in genomics, molecular biology techniques, and next-generation sequencing technologies.

  • Proficiency in metabolomics techniques for identification and analysis of specialized metabolites.

  • Bioinformatics skills, including data analysis, statistical tools, and programming languages (e.g, Python, R).
