Event Information

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in Doctor of Philosophy programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters degree in Chemical sciences/Physical/Biochemical sciences/biotechnology/ nanotechnology or any other relevant subject with a good academic record.

  • The candidate should have a valid Inspire/CSIR-UGC (JRF) qualification.

  • Candidate must bring their original examination qualifying certificates, award letter, Date of Birth certificate, Government recognized photo ID, SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD certificate (if applicable) and two copies of recent passport sized photographs. Please also bring selfattested photocopies of all the certificates. The original certificates will be returned to you immediately after verification while the self-attested photocopies will be retained by the admission committee.

Place of Interview: AB1, 5th floor, IISER Mohali (in-person/offline mode)

Admission Details

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and PWBD Quota. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Mohali, Punjab, India, 160071.
