National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Knowledge Management and Communication Specialist

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters degree (preferably in Urban Planning/ Environment/ Social Sciences/ Economics/ Statistics/ Management, with an understanding of the integrated sustainable planning, Nature- based Solutions (NbS), gender-sensitive planning, low-carbon mobility, etc.; with previous experience in developing capacity building modules, knowledge products, etc.

2. Proficiency in use of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc.

3. Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to work in a multi- cultural environment;

4. Ability to work independently and under pressure

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 8 years

Desirable:

1. Experience of working with Central Govt./ State Govt/ National Urban Missions (SMART City, AMRUT, etc.)/ Multilateral and bilateral organizations/ Local Bodies/ Resource centers/ NGOs/ Communities.

2. Working knowledge of GIS softwares (ArcMap, AutoCAD Map, QGIS, etc.) will be an added advantage.

3. Proficiency in spoken and written English. A good command over regional language (of project cities) and Hindi is desirable.
