National Health Systems Resource Centre invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Lead Consultant- Healthcare Technology (HCT) Division

Essential Qualification: Bachelors (B. Tech/B.E.)/ Masters (M. Tech) degree in Biomedical Engineering with Masters in Public Health.

Essential Work Experience:

1. Have at least 10 years of overall experience post-qualification with a minimum of 7 years of experience in working with government programs at national level for large scale public health programs especially health systems strengthening interventions.

2. Experience of working in the healthcare services or public health would be highly desirable, with deep understanding of public procurement, health technology assessment, designing of RFPs, medical device regulation etc.

3. Experience of designing National Programme guidelines and their implementation in States/UTs.

4. Willingness to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously and beyond office hours to meet the timelines for assignments.

5. Computer Skills: Proficiency in commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Ability to use internet to for desk research, literature review and accessing other relevant documents.

6. Essentially a team player with demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team along with good interpersonal abilities,

7. Good communication skills in English - both written and oral, presentation skills, ability to write analytical reports are all essential.

8. Working knowledge of Hindi desirable.

9. Ability to carry out the given task on his/her own or with minimal supervision
