Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Research Associate

Essential Qualification:

For RS-GIS: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after post graduation (I Class) in RS-GIS-related subjects from a recognised University/Institute as well as good knowledge of MS Office.

For Biodiversity: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after post graduation (I Class) in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science Environmental Management/ Life Sciences from a recognised University, as well as good knowledge of MS Office.

For Land Resources: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after post graduation (I Class) in Soil Science/ Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Natural Resource Management from a recognised University as well as good knowledge of MS Office.

For Climate Change: Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after post graduation (I Class) in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science Environmental Management from a recognised University/ Institute as well as good knowledge of MS Office.

For Social Science (Gender Studies): Doctorate degree or having 3 year research/teaching experience after post graduation (I Class) in Social Science/Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Statistics from a recognised University/ Institute as well as good knowledge of MS Office.

Desirable: Proven record of proficiency in using RS-GIS tools, satellite image processing, use of ERDAS, ArcGIS or QGIS, mapping of land use and land degradation.
