ESSO Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name:Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Fisheries Science (or) Marine Science (or) Environmental

Science/ (or) equivalent.

Desirable: Experience in Marine research, Analysing ecological data using relevant software & writing research papers. Previous research experience in the field of ocean modelling and published research papers will be desirable. Candidate must be willing to travel to different locations along the Gujarat coast for collection of fish catch data and go onboard regularly in the commercial/departmental fishing vessels. Occasional visits outside Gujarat are also required as part of the project work.

Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering (or) Graduate degree in Arts (or) Science Science (or) equivalent.

Desirable: Experience in handling electrical and electronic equipment. Candidate must be willing to travel to different locations along the Gujarat coast for collection of fish catch data and go onboard regularly in the commercial/departmental fishing vessels.
