National Institute of Mental Health Rehabilitation invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Professor (Clinical Psychology)

Essential Qualification:

(A) Officers under Central’ State Government/Universities/Recognized Research Institutes’ Public Sector Undertaking/ Semi-Government/Autonomous/ Statutory Organization holding:

(i) Analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) A post in Level 18A or 13 in Pay Matrix of 7th CPG or equivalent respectively with two years or three years of regular service in the Grade,or

(iii) A post in Level- 12 in Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or equivalent with eight years regular service in the Grade, And

(B) (i) 1st or 2nd class MA/M Sc. Degree in Psychology

(ii) M, Phil. In Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification from an institution/university recognized by the RCI

(iii) Ph. D) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university/ institution.

Essential Work Experience: 13 years of teaching and /or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining qualifying degree.

Desirable: Research/Published work in indexed Journals.

Post Name: Professor (Psychiatry)

Essential Qualification: 

(A) Officers under Central’ State Government/Universities/Recognized Research Institutes’ Public Sector Undertaking/ Semi-Government/Autonomous/ Statutory Organization holding:

(i) Analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(B) M.D in Psychiatry/ MD Psychological Medicine /or equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institution.

Essential Work Experience: 13 years of teaching/ or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree

Desirable: 

• An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant allied/ applied disciplines from a recognized institute, contributing knowledge related to the discipline with teaching/research/ published work in indexed Journals.

• At least 5 Research /Published works as first/ second author.

Post Name: Assistant Professor (Psychiatric Nursing)

Essential Qualification: 

• M.Se. in Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized University with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed

• 3 publications

• 4 years of teaching experience in the relevant field in a recognized Medical College/ University/ Institution

Desirable: 

• Ph.D. in the relevant field.

• Working experience in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
