Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training invites applications for the following post via Deputation:

Essential Qualification:

Officers of the Central or State Governments or Union Territory Administration:-

(1) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

(2) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay matrix level-6 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

(3) Certificate of Competency as Skipper Grade-l or Skipper Grade-ll or Mate of Fishing Vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

Essential Work Experience: Three years practical experience on board Fishing Vessel as Mate or Bosun after obtaining competency certificate of Mate fishing vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department.

Desirable: One year practical experience as Mate or Bosun on board a fishing vessel of 24 meters or more in length.
