Essential Qualification:

For Direct Recruitment:

1. Doctorate Degree in Science or First class Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/ Technology preferably in Renewable Energy from a recognized University/ Institution.

For Deputation:

Officers of Central/ State Governments/ PSUs/ Universities/ Research Institutes/ Autonomous Bodies:

1. Holding analogous post on regular basis and processing educational qualifications and experience as prescribed above. Or

2. Holding the post of Scientist E or equivalent in the scale of pay of Rs. 37400-67000/- GP Rs. 8700/- on regular basis for period of 5 years in any of above organization and possessing educational qualifications and experience as prescribed above. Or

3. Holding the post of Scientist D or equivalent in the scale of pay of Rs. 15600-39100/- GP Rs. 7600/- on regular basis for period of 8 years in any of above organization and possessing educational qualifications and experience as prescribed above.

Desirable: Specialization in Bioenergy/ Agriculture Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology /Molecular Biology/ Chemistry/ Electro-Chemistry/ Fuel Cell/ System Engineering/ Energy Science and Engineering.

Essential Work Experience: Minimum 12 years experience in Renewable Energy Sector after essential qualification, out of which 6 years should be preferably in the field of Bio-Energy R&D/ Design/ Manufacturing and consultancy.
