National Museum invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Curator (Lecturing and Education)

Essential Qualification:  Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertaking or Semi Government or Statutory or autonomous organizations:

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department. OR

2. With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the posts in the pay scale of 8000-13500 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.

3. Masters degree of a recognized University or equivalent in History or Sanskrit or Pali or Prakrit or Persian or Arabic or Archaeology or Anthropology or Fine Arts or History of Arts;

4. Diploma in Museology of a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

5. Five years experience in the relevant field in a museum of National or Regional importance under the control of a Central Government or State Government or Union Territory.

6. One years experience in teaching or/planning and organizing of education work in a museum of National or Regional importance under the control of Central Government or State Government or Union Territory. OR

7. Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Museum with History as a subject at Bachelors degree level.
