Post Name: Project Engineer

Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science /Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Information Security/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or its equivalent with a consistently good academic record. OEM Certified candidates in MS Windows Exchange Server 2016 or Network and Security (OEM Certified Cisco/ Checkpoint products), would be preferred.

Essential Work Experience: A minimum of three years of post-qualification full-time professional experience in a reputed organisation with hands-on experience in:

• Installation, Configuration, Management of MS Windows Server Virtualization, MS Exchange Server 2016 and above, Open Source Server Virtualization software/Operating System.

• AD, ADC and Exchange Sever Administration and Management.

• Web Gateway Security.

• Server Administration including troubleshooting, hardening, patch deployment for all kind of operating systems.

• Domain Administration with setting and implementation of root level security policies.

• Call logging and Coordination with Warranty/AMC vendors of network equipment for rectification of any problem in the equipment as per SLA with respective vendors.

• Monitor and manage network and compute infra such as firewalls, switches, routers, mobile devices, servers and laptops.

• Identify various threats and defend against them including unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction.

• Manage, Maintain and Monitor Wired and Wireless devices like Firewalls, L2 & L3 Switches, Routers, Access Points, Wireless Controllers including network management at Domain level

• Installation & Upgradation of IOS/Configuration Change/Hardening/Service & support on Switches / Routers as and when provided by OEM in coordination with service provider of the equipment supplied.

• Should be able to take back up and restore Servers/Network/Security devices.

• Administrative paperwork including preparation of RFPs, purchase orders, renewals, etc.

• Any other work assigned by the Institute.
