Central Drugs Standard Control Organization invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Director

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Chemistry or Bio-chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmacology or Bacteriology from a recognised University or institute or Associate ship of the Institute of Chemist; and

Deputation:

(l) Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories or recognised Research institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisation -

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) with five years service in Pay Level 12 (78800 - 209200) of pay matrix of 7th CPC rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(iii) with ten years service in the Pay Level 11 (67700 - 208700) of pay matrix of 7th CPC rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits as per recruitment rules.

Promotion:

The departmental Senior Scientific Officer Grade I in the revised pay structure, Pay Level 11 (67700 - 208700) of pay matrix of 7th CPC with Ten years service shall also be considered along with other candidates and in case he is selected, the post shall be deemed to have been filled by

Essential Work Experience: 12 years experience in drugs testing and standardisation and research.

Desirable: 

1. Doctorate degree in Chemistry or Bio-chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacology or Bacteriology from a recognised University or lnstitute

2. Administrative experience and ability in Laboratory organisation
