Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Teacher (Science)

Essential Qualification:

• Master Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in any subject of Science (Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Mathematics) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university

• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are have been awarded a PhD Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of MPhil/PhD Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, in relevant/ allied/ concerned Science disciplines

Desirable:

• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of coaching for UPSC Civil Services Examination

• Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified preliminary/mains examinations or Interview of UPSC or any other relevant and recognized administrative service examination
