Punjab Agricultural University invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Project Scientist-I

Essential Qualification:

  1. B.Sc Biotechnology/Agriculture/Bio sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.

  2. M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding and Genetics/Fruit Sciences/ Vegetable Science with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 OCPA or 65% marks.

  3. Ph.D in Biotechnology /Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Fruit Science/ Vegetable Sciences with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working in crop plants on Genomics/ High throughput SNP genotyping/Genome-wide association mapping /High resolution gene and QTL mapping/ Genome and transcriptome data analysis/ Genetic Transformation as evident from good quality publications in peer-reviewed journals.
