Indian Institute of Technology Delhi invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Principal Project Scientist

Essential Qualification:

(1) Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in Physics/Optics/EE with a minimum of 3 years research/industrial experience after PhD with at least 10 research papers in Science Citation (SCI) Journals having IF > 2.5, of which at least 5 should be as First Author.

OR

M.Sc./M.Tech. 1st Class or equivalent with 9 years experience in the above areas, with at least 6 research papers in Science Citation (SCI) Journals having IF > 2.5, of which at least 3 should be as First Author.

(2) Hands-on work in THz spectroscopy and/or Raman spectroscopy and Ultrafast optics and pump-probe experiments;

(3) Experience of working with and handling optical fibers and related optomechanics;

(4) Expertise in optical parameter extraction analysis; and

(5) excellent English communication skills.

Desirable:

(1) Experience of working with optical & electronic equipment,

(2) Knowledge of LABVIEW, MATLAB and PYTHON
