Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
1. A Masters degree in Economics is preferred with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. Note that the candidates who are close to finishing their Masters program, but have not yet received their degree, may also be eligible.Candidates from other fields may also be considered, if they hold the following two skills.
2. Proficiency in handling STATA (data management and data analyses) is essential.
3. Familiarity with Econometric concepts.
4. Candidates with a valid CSIR NET/UGC/GATE score or those who have cleared any
national level test conducted by IITs/IIMs will be preferred.
Desirable: Quantitative analysis of large datasets, and excellent writing skills.
