Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I
Essential Qualification:
First class Post Graduate degree including integrated PG degree in any of the following subjects: Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology and related Life science disciplines OR
Second class PG degree including integrated PG degree with PhD in the above mentioned subject specialties OR
First Class engineering graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized University
Desirable:
Candidates who cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) exams will be preferred
Candidates having experience with in vivo studies using mouse and rat models, including isolation and culture of immune cell populations will be preferred
Candidates with hands-on experience and expertise in immunological techniques, especially Flow cytometry, ELISPOT assay, Immunoblotting, Immunohistochemistry, antibody isolation will be given preference
Expertise in the basic molecular biology techniques, such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR etc is desirable
Basic knowledge in Statistics, including experience in data analysis using popular statistical platforms, such as SPSS, R, Graphpad Prism, Origin etc is also desirable
