Course name: Master of Public Health

Educational Qualification: Medical graduates (MBBS), Dental graduates (BDS), Graduates of AYUSH (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)], Bachelor of Veterinary Science, B.Tech or BE (any branch) and graduates of four-year degree programs in Nursing sciences, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or students with a postgraduate degree in Statistics/Biostatistics, Demography, Population Studies, Nutrition, Sociology, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Management or Law may apply. Work experience in a health-related field is desirable.

Course name: Diploma in Public Health

Educational Qualification: The DPH course is exclusively for MBBS doctors working in various State/Central Government departments/agencies. The purpose of the program is for capacity building of the public health care system in public health.

Essential Work Experience: 3 years in Government service after MBBS.

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy

Educational Qualification: Graduation/Postgraduation and M.Phil in a relevant field with a recognized University.

Admission Details

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number SCTIMST/DAA/MPH, DPH & PhD-Admn/2023. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Person With Benchmark Disability will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, PWBD Quota and Other Backward Classes. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at All India and Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Trivandrum, Kerala, India, 695004.
