Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate/postgraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Bachelor of Physical Education

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in Inter college/Inter-Zonal /District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR

  • Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks. OR

  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject. OR

  • Bachelors Degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter-University/State competitions or secured 1st , 2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college/Inter-zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR

  • Bachelors Degree with participation in International Competitions or secured 1st , 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Goverment of India. OR

  • Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (For deputed in-service candidates ie Trained Physical Education teacher/Coaches).

Course name: Master of Physical Education

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) or Equivalent with at least 50% marks. OR

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks.

Admission Details

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Women. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Srinagar, Uttarakhand, India, 249161.
