Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in PhD programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy.

Educational Qualification:

For CSE and ECE:

Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks.  Or

Four-year Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology/Medical Sciences or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.0 or 65% of marks.

For Mathematics: MA/MSc/MTech in Mathematics with at least 60% marks or a CPI of 6.5

For HSS: Masters degree in Linguistics/English/Comparative Literature/Political Science/Development Studies/other relevant areas with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent.

Candidates with MPhil degree/ NET-JRF will be given preference.

Essential Qualification: For candidates with a B.Tech/MA/MSc, preference will be given to those who have cleared GATE/NET/JRF.
